Philippa Coull – Occupational Therapy Driving Assessor and Senior Clinician

Philippa lives on the Mornington Peninsula. She has been a driving assessor since 2008 and an OT since 1979. She has a particular interest in supporting entry level drivers, and older drivers who need to return to driving, in a changed situation. Philippa has extensive experience working with people whose disability means they need to use alternate controls to manage driving.

Expert services

Philippa provides professional and experienced support at whatever part of the driving journey you are on: contemplating, new learner or returning to driving. She can help you to:

  • Navigate the minefield that exists around driving with her intimate knowledge of the VicRoads and NDIA processes and the way these interact

  • Tap into her great network of experience specialised driving instructors with specific interest in ‘special’ learners.

  • Utilise her experience in driver modifications (if they are required), and even support in getting your own car modified

  • Assess a 'Potential to drive' for those just contemplating what might be involved and whether driving is for them.

 

Note: Philippa is unable to offer support where complex mental health is the primary factor impacting driving.
