As OTs we are able to work with and support you to find out what you need help with, to increase your satisfaction with your life. We are experienced with supporting people with physical, psychosocial and intellectual disability.

We are able to accept referrals from

  • North East Melbourne metropolitan region and surrounds (Nillumbik, Banyule and Darebin)

  • East Melbourne metropolitan area (Boroondara, Manningham and Whitehorse)

  • Mornington Peninsula and surrounds (Mornington Peninsula, Frankston, Casey and Kingston)

  • West Gippsland Area (Warragul, Poowong, Longwarry, Neerim, Moe, Yarragon, Trafalgar, Willow Grove, Bunyip and surrounds)

NDIS

Our OT’s are very experienced in working with NDIS and can help you understand NDIS language

and your plan, so you are able to make best use of it to work towards your goals. We are also very experienced at the functional

capacity assessments that NDIA use to establish your needs and to build your plans.

Other NDIA specific work includes comprehensive SDA and SIL assessments, assistive technology

assessments, vehicle modification assessments, minor home modifications (and connections to

refer out for complex home modifications).

TAC

Our OT's are registered with TAC to provide the services permitted within the TAC Clinical Framework, to promote recovery, functional independence or self-management.

We see TAC funded clients, usually with no waitlist delay, in the first 90 days after your claim.

We can also continue services approved after that initial period.

Our OT's are experienced clinicians with many years experience supporting people living in the community. 

We have the depth of experience to assist people with often complex needs, who require Long Term Support.

Whatever your funding is, please contact us to discuss your needs. We are able to work with most funders including DVA, Workcover, Private Health Insurance and private funding

Adult OT: Some services to make your journey easier

  • Future needs assessment & forward planning to maximise independence & maintain dignity

  • Motorised mobility device (wheelchair & scooter) assessment, prescription & training, with expertise in complex seating

  • Activities of daily living assessment & training

  •  Recommendations for vehicle modification (driver &passenger)

  • Complex care program support & manual handling training for carers

  • Strategies & intervention for participants & family, to support living a ‘best life’

  • Environmental modifications to support safety and independence

  • Developing programs for Support Workers

  • Assessment, prescription & training in use of Simple or Complex AT (assistive technology) ensuring a “good fit” between client, family & environment

  • Assessment & management of pressure care & 24-hour positioning

  • Integration into the community including connecting to recreational and leisure-based activities & public transport training

  • Prescription of environmental control units and IT, using alternative access options where needed (eg. switches)
